The goal of e-olive is to develop ICT tools, practices, and guidelines to be applied in the Mediterranean region, aiming at optimizing the production of olive oil products (and their by-products). The biggest challenge for this project is to bring together scientists from different fields of expertise, alongside olive oil producers, in order to effectively introduce emerging information and communication technologies into both the production process and the olive oil supply chain.
